Biden leads by a wide 14 point margin, 55 to 41 percent, among registered voters in the new CNN/SSRS

Trump support in freefall, collapsing. Startling data in there showing an absolute collapse in support for Trump.

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/06/08/politics/cnn-poll-trump-biden-chaotic-week/index.html

s protesters gather daily near the White House and the coronavirus pandemic rages on, the American public is souring on President Donald Trump. A new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS finds Trump's approval rating down 7 points in the last month as the President falls further behind presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, whose support now stands at its highest level in CNN polling.

The survey also finds a growing majority of Americans feel racism is a big problem in the country today and that the criminal justice system in America favors whites over blacks. More than 8 in 10 also say that the peaceful protests that have spread throughout the nation following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers are justified. Americans now consider race relations as important a campaign issue as the economy and health care, according to the survey.
View Trump and Biden head-to-head polling
Overall 38% approve of the way Trump is handling the presidency, while 57% disapprove. That's his worst approval rating since January 2019, and roughly on par with approval ratings for Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush at this point in their reelection years. Both went on to lose the presidency after one term.
In the race for the White House, among registered voters, Trump stands 14 points behind Biden, who officially secured enough delegates to win the Democratic nomination in CNN's delegate estimate on Saturday. The 41% who say they back the President is the lowest in CNN's tracking on this question back to April 2019, and Biden's 55% support is his highest mark yet.

If that happens it would be the first time, I think since Johnson / Goldwater.

That's how I remember it too.
It's a bit different also, because these 2 values add up to 96%. That's only 4% 3rd party or undecided.
The 2016 election was 9% 3rd party.
At least PINO is a uniting force! Folks are uniting AGAINST him!

14. To those that say polling doesn't matter this far out that is not entirely true

Harry Enten, who does polling analysis for CNN, had either a long twitter thread or a piece on the CNN website a while back about the strong correlation to being ahead at this time in national polls at this point in the campaign and eventual victory in November. I’m still more interested in state polling but we can go ahead and drop the “they don’t matter” meme on national polls now. It’s uninformed opinion.

Biden certainly has a huge advantage right now and it would seem on his way to becoming the next POTUS.. barring anything crazy happening between now and Nov.

I posted this earlier but later saw MSNBC say if you add all the polls its only 7 ahead by Biden.

The country is still stupid and has too many fools supporting Trump.

17. According to RCP avg Biden leads by 7.8 which is his biggest lead since late last year.

That number will likely increase as older polls drop off and new ones with bigger leads get averaged in.

The tide is turning no matter how you choose to look at it. Note the trend in the graph below..
