At $150 a Pop (So To Speak), Just How Much Money Did Minneapolis Waste By Doing This?

Minneapolis police videoed slashing tires of protestors (they assume). Aren't all these people just going to bill the City of Minneapolis for the price of those tires? And, at about $150 per tire, Minneapolis will be out quite a lot of money. I'd really like to know whose dumb ass idea that was.

slicing my exes tires would be a bad plan (felony charges) valve stems would do the same thing way cheaper.

They have Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors as part of the valve stem. The old tool that pulls out old-fashioned valve stems won't work, and neither will trying to cut the valve stem.

Besides, it costs between $75 and $150 to replace those TPMS sensor valve stems, so not much would have been saved.

What you can do, though, is use a simple tool to remove the valve core from any tire valve. It costs almost nothing, but it does take about ten seconds to unscrew it from the valve stem. I have a valve core tool on my keychain. I've been carrying it there since the 1960s. It's very attractive, I think.

Stupidest thing ever. They could have booted the cars without destroying private property and accomplished the same thing. Every one of these cops needs to be fired for vandalizing citizens cars.

the government and its minions don't like it when the people try to hold them responsible, so the courts are set up to keep us from even trying.
