4. Why would Trump make such accusations?
Tue Jun 9, 2020, 10:52 AM
Jun 2020

Because it deflects attention, like every one of his appalling statements or utterances. As usual, Trump couched it in the "just asking questions here" language that allows him to say that he didn't really say what he said.

Now he's hell-bent on going into CAMPAIGN OVERDRIVE and leaving any semblance of leadership or management behind. He must because it's universally known that Boy-Trumpy has FAILED in confronting the pandemic. He's FAILED as well in maintaining the economy. He's also FAILED with his handling of the BLM movement. That's a trifecta of FAILURE. And then, as a bonus, he's earned the title of "Bunker Boy."

So NOW is the time to ignore the failures and move on to campaigning for re-election. And you know that he'll campaign on his record. How? He'll LIE about his record, then tell all of us that his LIES should be rewarded by giving him another four years in office.

Anyone who is injured seriously enough by the cops during these protests to have his/her name published can expect the same treatment. Shithead is frightened, so Shithead makes ridiculous accusations and hopes his Beer Gut Brigade will take care of the problem.

One of these days, someone he accuses is going to have money in the bank and he's going to get sued over it.

That should have happened years ago. This is what he's always done, then pointed to his stable of overpaid mob lawyers and smirked "so sue me."

He is a horrible man who consistently does horrible things. He is incapable of doing otherwise because he is a malignant narcissist.

Some conspiracy theorist decided that the victim was using a phone app that 'captured' the cops radio frequencies so they could broadcast a signal to block cop communications. This popped up on FR a few days ago, and has been getting 'push' from the usual nutty sources.

25. Apparently it started with Conservative Treehouse.

From Intelligencer:

...

Trump’s theory is that the victim, elderly progressive activist Martin Gugino, set up the officers by deliberately taking a fall like he was a power forward for Duke. But the plot goes even deeper. Trump referred to a report from One American News, the station of choice for viewers who consider Fox News too sane. OAN based its report on a story broken by Conservative Treehouse.

The Conservative Treehouse theory of the case is that Gugino is secretly working either with, or somehow inspired by, antifa, despite no evidence linking him to the street-fighting cult composed largely of confused young men young enough to be his grandchildren. Conservative Treehouse breaks down video of Gungino’s fall, Jim Garrison–style, and tries to claim he was reaching for the belt of the officer who shoved him. It alleges the old guy was attempting to covertly carry out “a method of police tracking used by antifa to monitor the location of police. In some cases, the more high-tech capture software can even decipher communication encryption, allowing the professional agitators to block (black out), jam, or interfere with police communication.”

So obviously, the officer, attuned to the probability that the old man in front of him was executing a sophisticated espionage technique, had no choice but to shove him. At this point, Gungino exaggerated the fall and then started bleeding for some probably unrelated reason. And then the police had to walk past him, because if they stooped down to check on his health, he might have reached up and stolen their communications.
