Does anyone really care what Sen Lisa Murkowski has to say now?

She had the opportunity when the senate was voting on impeaching Trump to speak up. Romney had the courage to vote with his conscience knowing that it could have meant the end of his career. If I remember rightly, during a doorstop interview, Murkowski refused to entertain the idea of voting against Trump. Why is it now that she has suddenly seen the light? Trump hasn't changed. He is still the pig he always was.

She voted in haste and now she can regret it at her own leisure.

If she is finally fed up and turns on Trump.
Collins I think is hopeless.
Romney is basically flipped.
If some Senators lose because trump dragged down the ticket they may turn on him.
We may need some 51-49 votes in the Senate before January.

into taking a principled stand against Trump, soonest. Legislative as well as the upcoming election. Signing on with the Lincoln Project would be a good first step. Otherwise not a friend of mine either!

his advantage down the road in 4 to 8 years when he announces he is running for President again and that is why he is trying to position himself as a (somewhat) sane and ethical Republican.

Anything she has to say is going to be nothing more than self-serving claptrap.

She had her chance to take a stand. She had lots of chances. She blew it every time.

However among Republican national elected officials she is actually a leading indicator in that regard. Murkowski has had her moments. She voted against Kavenaugh, she voted not to abolish Obamacare, but she has been far from a pillar of strength when it comes to resisting the damage Trump has caused our nation. Overall she has been part of the problem, not a part of the solution. But the depths of our national nightmare won't be over simply by defeating Trump. Millions of Americans need to be deprogrammed now or the Trump virus will remain dangerous in our political environment. Murkowski serves as a litmus test for that. If she publicly breaks with Trump before the November election that is definitely a positive indicator

I strongly want to hear the words, "I am leaving the Republican party" come out of her mouth, and Romney's, and Collins -- and at least one more Senator. And then I want to hear: "And I will be caucusing with the Democrats."
