Make sure going over the line has serious consequences, jail time, bars to future employment in the field, dismissal out of hand from the force.

Assume police testimony is false when given in exculpation of a 'fellow officer' accused of brutality. Odds are damned good at present that it is.

Charge officers with perjury when they lie in court. No police officer has the nerve to deny the fact of 'testi-lying' to match the claimed facts to the right to search or to the charge desired.

Stop training police to view themselves as potential victims in every encounter with the public, so that they must be on a hair-trigger for violent reaction every instant.

from happening. Elected officials are too cowardly to take on the Police Unions and too many citizens sit on their asses and NOT vote for those who could change things around.

The fact is. we have we got because of our indifference until an event happens
