Projected Total: 182,297 deaths by Sep 1; 202,810 deaths by Oct 1, 2020

This model has, sad to say, been terribly accurate.

"Current Total: 113,817 deaths | Projected Total: 182,297 deaths by Sep 1 | 202,810 deaths by Oct 1, 2020 (Range: 148-293k)"

Also, he said just counting deaths is misleading, many survivors are fucked for life with the after effects, plus no on yet knows if it can burrow into your body and wait for years before reappearing in some terrible form.

It does not look like things will get any better during the summer. People abandoning masks, not social distancing, going out in groups and crowds.

In fact, given that this is a novel virus, and it's not an influenza virus, there is clearly zero reason to think it will fade away during the warmer months. Which means, there really won't be waves of it, just a steady march of the virus around the country.
