Rachel Maddow suggesting the republican convention in Florida might have such activities as

a nightly doorknob licking competition, or how everyone over 75 takes a lick on the giant soft serve counter. Anyone want to play sneeze in my face, touch all the handrails, then walk over and eat at the buffet

She made these comments after the RNC chair suggests using cruise ships to handle RNC guest overflow amid pandemic, and rising numbers in Florida

now? I can't think of a place I'd less like to be.

Maybe Fallujah?

At least this wasn't going around. I would rather go back than deal with the Corona virus. I could even watch sports on AFN I can't even do that with this going on.

Both killed a lot of people, cost a lot of money. Although I guess since the former was directly our fault and the latter is a force of nature, I guess it goes to Iraq.

They are all sitting idle right now, the RNC needs lodging for the attendees, and tRump wanted to get some money to the cruise ship lines. Make it mandatory for all attendees to use these floating hotels.

And then as soon as the convention is over they could all float out for a mandatory FREEDOM QUARANTINE CRUISE for 14 days, or however long it takes for 2 negative tests.

I don't see any downside to this!

Oh, yeah, great way to spread it. Unfortunately, those entitled cretins are just going to take it back home to beauticians and grocery clerks and bartenders and a whole lot of other people who don't go to conventions because they work hard for a living with little reward.

I just hope service workers have masks and are using them. It's going to be their only defense against stupid Republicans playing follow the leader over a cliff.

the grocery store clerks in my small community have stopped wearing masks. I live in a red area of a blue state. I think it is a political expression. My state, Illinois, has come off the stay-at-home. We are reopening, cautiously. Our governor has been great about relying on science and keeping us informed.

The next time I go to the store, I am going to comment. I could take my business elsewhere. I would have to drive a little further, but the grocery clerks in the other two stores I use occasionally are all masked. The aisles are one-way, and everything is marked out for social distancing. There are reminders every half-hour over the p.a.

Thank you trump, for making this political. You are killing more people this way.

to find out if this is a store policy. If it is, shop elsewhere, endangering employees is just plain evil.

Otherwise, the only person's behavior you can control is your own. RWNJs are endangering themselves by slavishly following that orange blowhard. He's heavily protected from everything. They're not.
