Tomorrow is Flag Day in our country

There is the new social app, NextDoor, though monitored, which can be another web endeavor that creates partisan and nationalistic posts and rants.

I replied:
"I don't agree about "the disrespect for the flag and the country". Many countries around the world have flag days. It is a matter of national pride for many peoples around the world. We are fortunate to be living in a country that has a has a constitution with an amendment that prevents the government from making laws which regulate an establishment of religion, prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the right to peaceably assemble, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. We live on a planet. We are all people. Display the flag with pride but do not think that ALL the people that are assembling and seeking petition do not love this country. We are are trying to create "A more perfect Union""

and made this graphic and posted it.

And have it on other items which sullies it and violates the flag code.

They are usually just jingoistic nationalists.

They have no real patriotism.

It is a mile wide and an inch deep.

For show and chest thumping without any cognizance of what is good about the country mixed with what is terribly wrong. They will scream it’s the greatest country in the world and they’ve never been anywhere else.

It had flown since 9/11. I will proudly hang a new one when Biden is elected!
