When this was blowing up in the middle of the eastern US time, Lisa Alexander tried posting to her Nextdoor account, deleted that, and took down her social media info.

Lisa napalmed her own career

She's one of the nicer-acting Karen's, I'll give her that.

Usually they're racists AND act like total assholes on top of it.

She's a racist who exhibits a modicum of restraint about it.

Probably can chalk it up to her feeling like she has quite a bit to lose ... but her racism still overcomes that fear.

Seemed to me that she was keenly aware that what she was doing could end up looking bad on her so she was trying to be as polite as possible.

Guessing this is in San Francisco (or maybe a hilly part of SoCal like Pasadena or San Diego), based on various visual cues.

I'm fascinated by it, actually. The very thing you know she's thinking might happen is actually happening, and yet... she can't stop herself from asserting her perceived cultural and moral authority.

and encouraged her to be the one to make the entreaty to the man, and she believed him that he knew.

Honestly if they DID actually know it wasn't his house/that he had no right to do what he was doing ... I would say they handled it fairly appropriately.

Which is more than I can say for a lot of the Karens we've all had the misfortune of witnessing of late.

Or, she "took his bait". I'd hesitate to pull my phone from my pocket when my hands have wet yellow paint on them. But, if the paint was dry ...

It's hard to see chalk as serious vandalism. It's gone as soon as the lawn gets watered.

And, yes, with yellow chalk on his hands, he might reach into his pocket for a phone. I regularly got chalk on me when I taught (back when chalk was still used.)

But I did find the cached version of the "About Us" page.

FIRST thing she brags about is being a "Dame of Malta". So we know that the most important thing in her life is being a radical right wing theocratic Roman Catholic.

Here's all of her scintillating CV. And that pickle company name is a doozy, considering...

From a fifth generation agricultural family long engrained in the history of California, Ms. Alexander is an expert in green design, organic products, sustainable businesses and day-to-day green living. She is a Dame of Malta and a member of the Society of California Pioneers. Ms. Alexander resides in San Francisco and is actively involved in numerous charity and community causes including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Fight Against Breast Cancer, Cancer Care Services, the UCLA Foundation, Pets Unlimited, the Guardsman of San Francisco and The Parks Trust to name a few.

A visionary in fashion design, Lisa Alexander took her years of experience in the couture fashion industry and launched several different fashion lines in the US. She also founded (in respect to her agricultural roots) “Mo Betta Pickles“, a pickle company sold to William Sonoma.

An international adventurer, Lisa has climbed Kilimanjaro, sailed with the America’s Cup team on the sailboat Defiance, and modeled for Givenchy and Valentino in Europe and New York. She spent years living abroad in London, Switzerland and India and the combination of these experiences gives an international perspective to her sense of fashion, style and market opportunity. The most influential part of her life was growing up on a ranch however as that is where she learned the importance of a natural and organic lifestyle and how to bring this forward in her skincare line, LAFACE.

He was a LOT nicer than I would have been to her.

You can tell she is racist, but was trying to shroud it.
