My son is watching the Republican debates with me and he just made this spontaneous observation. Truth from the mouth of babes.

(36,693 posts)When I opened your post all I saw was 'My ten year old'
and no quote from him/her and then I went to the original
and saw what they said and I was surprised that the quote was gone
that is what prompted the question about the edit

(2,393 posts)I have a 16 year old, 12 year old, and 10 year old. My husband (from Detroit) and I (a Texan) try to live by example and our kids are all thoughtful progressives even though we live in TEXAS!

(122 posts)Forget about rethuglicans, we know what time it is with them. They wear racism as a badge of honor. I was surprised to see so much racism from democrats, specifically Hillary supporters. Remember the pumas, they were nothing but racist. It was interesting how Hillary kept quite about all the racism coming from her supporters. At times she seemed to promote racism, remember her saying the white working class will not vote for Obama that why I need to be the nominee. That was sad and shocking coming from so called dems.
