I live in what some call Indian Country, there are several reservations within a couple hundred miles from me in any direction. The way they are treated by the states is atrocious, the fed is no better in protecting them or negotiating with them regarding their needs and the fed's treaties and other agreements are concerned.

I have an in-law from Europe who didn't understand why the Native Americans were so mad. We can all guess the real reason why Mnuchin has been holding back the funds, but what's his excuse? What is the penalty to him for doing this? If there is one*, it should be applied as speedily as possible. Bonus points if it kicks him out of the job for criminal incompetence.
