(38,601 posts)This one has masks (sometimes) but I do cringe at the older (I assume) footage without them. Cant help it.
Still, good message.

(5,183 posts)workers are the backbone of this nation, the reason why Americans used to be a role model for the world.
We stand in disgrace at the moment.
Go, Joe.

(111,355 posts)It has become a dog whistle for white suburbs and business as usual. Instead of saying the middle class built this country, which they didn't, say "the American people." They did.
The rest of the ad is great. Somebody is learning and is giving a nod to how an economy really works.

(111,355 posts)"Middle class" has to go, too many people who are working for shit wages to keep this country functioning hear it as "upper middle class" and that means nothing will get better for them.
I can't believe people don't realize this.
Your wording is spot on, exactly on message.

(18,486 posts)I love everything about it but one of the things I really like is how he prominently shows himself wearing a mask.
REAL men aren't afraid of masks ... because, as he says, "This isn't about me. It's about YOU. It's about US."

(4,619 posts)The poor are the fuel for the machine.
The poor do a ton of work without getting paid much for it, so the rest of us can prosper, myself included.
There are a lot of poor.
I wish someone would mention the 44% of Americans who couldn't get $1,000 to save them.
It's not about just the middle class Joe, and others.
Sorry.
Some of the protesters are there for this reason more than the cops killing unarmed minority citizens.
And if the 1% paid some taxes FOR ONCE it might help too.

(13,061 posts)Soooo much leadership & true Presidential qualities - intellect, experience, empathy, compassion, kindness, ability to relate with everyone and anyone. This is the Leader we need now, more than any other point in US history. We need Joe now. Let's make us he is our president come Nov. 3rd my fellow Americans

(25,902 posts)Not the middle class. Or say middle class and working class.
And I likewise am bothered by the older footage showing no masks.

(7,263 posts)Joe has to be careful - his Credit Card Reform Bill was highly unfavorable to consumers, and favored the usurious Credit Corporations.
I'll be voting for Joe no matter what, just donated $25 per month to his DU fund...but he has some explaining to do in the coming months. He can't give the Right ANY ammunition.
