(8,067 posts)I'm pretty sure Biden is going to pick her for VP, and therefore for president. He'll step down and make her president before his term is up.
I still wish it was Elizabeth Warren to be the first female president of the USA, or Stacey Abrams. But I'll stand with Kamala if it's her. Kamala's really been getting out there, and I admire that.

At least I can't recall this from anyone...

Links to that type of tripe don't deserve to be posted on a Democratic message board.

(3,697 posts)given the differences in their experience and work history. I want the best qualified woman and I see that as a choice being between Warren and Harris. I prefer Harris over Warren because I think the ticket needs some diversity and 2 senior citizen couples on the campaign trail seems out of place at this point in time.

(1,295 posts)I'd prefer Kamala as VP because of her experience in the Senate and as AG of the largest state. Biden will be starting his term at 78 years old and the politics of getting anything done at the national level is so cut throat that I think it's essential that the VP have as much experience as possible.
And, traditionally, the VP nominee acts as more of an attack dog in the campaign, so that the Presidential nominee can appear a bit more above the fray. Kamala is very skilled at prosecution and I would really look forward to her eviscerating Trump every day.

(32,777 posts)... I'm not so sure about Vice President though. It should definitely be a woman, and one with a tremendous resume with deep experience in executive and legislative branches.
As much as I would love it to be Hillary I don't think that's practical, and she probably doesn't want it anyway. I'd love it to be Liz Warren, but would Biden choose her? I don't think so. So Susan Rice would be an awesome choice, as would Stacey Abrams. Can America accept a woman as President, who also happens to be a woman of color? I really don't know if we're ready for that. It's going to be a tricky decision, no matter how he goes.

(3,697 posts)I don't understand that reasoning. I worry about a Sarah Palin replay if we pick someone that we haven't seen on the debate stage or campaigning and who has ran for a federal level office.

(32,777 posts)I want Kamala as the Attorney General because she'd be a bulldog when it comes to bring these Repukes to Justice. That's what I said.
I don't really know who will be chosen as the VP candidate but in a perfect world it would be Hillary. That's what I said.

(21,620 posts)easily accept Harris, too.
Harris would be an outstanding AG. Law is her strength. She is also a dynamic personality. Warren's intelligence and ability to accomplish things through persistence is awesome. If not VP, she could be in the cabinet. Abrams' persistence and unequivocal stand for what is right is a great strength to have in government.
I can't think of anyone else who would be better than any one of these 3 women.
