"TAKE THE TUBE! TAKE THE TUBE!" Soon it will be time for the intubation challenge for some of those folks. That will be exciting.

(11,026 posts)There's no law saying the CDC recommendations are required. The state gov't has made it clear they're not interested in enforcement. Sucks, but there really wasn't any standing to rule in their favor even if cases are spiking.

(31,261 posts)Tulsa has the request to follow CDC quidelines as well as the state Supreme Court ruling denying the request, it also has the Trump campaign indemnity release attempt that each participant had to agree to in order to get a ticket. People that attended the rally will have done so aware of the potential consequences.

I thought that maybe a the city was behind it in order to show that they did what they could to keep people safe from the virus. Prevent lawsuits since the city own it.

It's going to be a gruesome science experiment with human beings as the test subjects. The data will be useful, but some of them are going to pay for it with their lives.
And for what? The sociopathic, narcissistic orange blob will be entertained by having the power to convince people to kill themselves for him. It's revolting.
