The site owner (Twitter, in this case) has to choose to stand with the accused infringer (and also be liable for infringement) - or take it down. Absent an ideological connection with the accused infringer, the site owner takes it down.

Wonder if there's an owner of the second manipulated video (Another day in Trump's America) who could file a take down notice . . .
