I'd like to think that by now, people are starting to realize that Joe is just a genuinely good and decent man, and any attempt to smear him will just look petty and desperate at this late hour. But Trump is a cornered rat now. He'll literally do anything to save his own hide. And the longer this goes (and the further behind he falls in the polls), the more outlandish the accusations will become. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump's "October surprise" is accusing Joe of murdering his first wife. And anybody who thinks Trump would never stoop THAT low, you clearly haven't been paying attention.
