Of course he has, all about raping the land to profit as much as possible.

President Donald Trump will formally nominated William Perry Pendley, a self-proclaimed sagebrush rebel with extreme anti-environmental views and a long history of advocating for the sale of federal lands in the West, to serve as director of the Bureau of Land Management.
Pendley was tapped last July for a senior policy position at BLM, an agency of the Department of the Interior, and quickly elevated to acting chief. The backdoor appointment put him in charge of overseeing 245 million acres of public land more than 10% of the entire U.S. landmass and 700 million subsurface mineral acres. It also enraged environmentalists and sparked fears of a public lands sell-off.

Pendley likes to evoke the Sagebrush Rebellion of the 1970s as a pivotal moment in US history. In 2016, he wrote in the National Review that environmentalists in the Carter administration provoked the revolt by ranchers, drillers, and loggers against federal authority by intervening in land-use decisions. Calling Obama worse than Carter, he wrote a line that has come back to haunt him. This time westerners know that only getting title to much of the land in the West will bring real change.
As head of the BLM, Pendley has softened his tone. He says he was expressing the views of many westerners in the commentary, but not his own.
After working in the Reagan administration, beginning in the late 1980s, Pendley spent three decades at the Mountain States Legal Foundation. The Colorado foundation was led in its early days by James Watt, the anti-environmental crusader who became Reagans interior secretary. As the foundation president, Pendley represented ranchers, miners, loggers, and drillers, sometimes suing the BLM and other federal agencies on their behalf.

(12,504 posts)7. He'll be fired next January
before he can inflict much damage. This is the part of the end of a presidency where, if he can't have his way, he'll burn the house down by leaving a trail of RWNJs as agency heads that will need to be removed on inauguration day.
In that way, Trump can tweet at Biden for 4 years saying Joe is ruining everything I built!
