I can't find the thread now, but that upgrade completely screwed up my computer.
Anyone else having similar problems?

Ended up having to do a clean Windows install. Thankfully I didn't have anything important to lose on it. I spent 2 days trying to fix it before doing that.

to override the problems - flashing task bar icons, desktop icons that won't open, etc. Even a system restore didn't help.
Dell finally had to disable the touchscreen (that I don't use anyway) to get back to "normal".
