FLIPPABLE: Cate Steel for CT-HD37
Cate Steel is an educator, nonprofit executive, and mother. By focusing on some of the hardest populations, Cate spent over 35 years working collaboratively with parents and families of children in education. She also dedicates her experience to the community as the President of the Board for ArtReach, a creative healing nonprofit in Norwich, and The Connecticut Storytelling Center, which inspires through storytelling. An avid painter, gardener, and musician, Cate flexes her creative interests. Raising a family in East Lyme over the last 20+ years, Cate has a mission to dedicate her passion to the community by serving in government. In 2019, Cate was elected to the East Lyme Board of Education.
