Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite and heiress who became a confidante of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and was later accused of involvement in his alleged sexual crimes, has been arrested by the FBI, two senior law enforcement sources tell News 4 New York.

She was arrested in New Hampshire on Epstein-related charges and is expected to appear in a federal court later today, the sources say.

Spokespeople for the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan declined to comment.

The daughter of media baron Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine was a one-time girlfriend of Epstein's and was at the high-flying investor's side for decades.

But she was also alleged to have helped Epstein groom teen girls for sex with the rich and powerful. One of those teens, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, leveled that charge against Maxwell in a 2015 defamation suit.

For those who don't know, Bill Barr's father hired Epstein to teach in the Dalton School years ago. Barr's father was the headmaster. It's an ultra-exclusive school whose teachers all have masters and doctorates, but when Barr's father hired Epstein, Epstein didn't have even a bachelor's degree. He was hired to teach physics and math. To high school boys and girls.

It seems as if Epstein must have blackmailed Barr's father to get the job the same way he blackmailed everyone else. He must have serious dirt on the guy.

Bill Barr visited Epstein in jail the day before Epstein "killed himself."

He may or may not afford Maxwell the same courtesy before she "kills herself" though it hardly seems necessary.

He deserved everything that happened to him.
But the series states that he was hired at Dalton School, when he was barely in his early 20's, and got in because he lied on his application, and later fired for that reason.
I don't believe blackmail had anything to do with getting in. But, I'm no expert.

He started in his financial gain immediately afterwards when he started working in Wall St.

Anyone and everyone that is pictured with him, are now suspect to using his services, whether they did or not.

Curious isn’t it? Trump and Barr just fired the US Attorney there and hoped to replace him with a toadie, but are stuck with Berman’s former deputy instead. It couldn’t be because they knew this arrest was imminent and they wanted to make sure the case was handled to their liking, could it? They’ll have to resort to Plan B, which is to handle the problem through the Bureau of Prisons like they did Epstein.
