I think Duckworth would better for military morale, and candidate military burnishing, while Harris would be a better political law and order pick.

My promotion to Colonel - long years ago - was held up by a senator wanting an explanation for someone (or someones) not on the list. I got over it.

If LTC Vindman is not on the list for promotion to O-6, the Senate SHOULD NOT confirm anyone from Colonel to General (four star) absent an explanation - by the Secretary of the Army - why he is not on the list.

Give 'em hell LTC Duckworth - you are correct.
