The "if elected, I will start a nuclear war" plank in the GOP platform should disqualify them all

It is believed that Iran is attempting to build a nuclear bomb for reasons that, right now, are not really clear. Whether they want it to keep the Israelis from dropping any more ordinance on them or to protect themselves against Texas governors who steal presidential elections I don't know, and I'm not certain they've actually got a bomb nor am I certain they're trying to build one, but everyone thinks they're building a bomb so for lack of any indication the crazy fuckers are NOT building a bomb we'll say they are.

(Yes, this is my official announcement: since anyone who can write a sentence that convoluted belongs in Congress, I'm running. I predict I'll get three votes--after all, I am a leftist who lives in Idaho.)

Every Republican candidate for president plus most of the Republicans who are not running for president at this exact moment have called for invading Iran. If Iran manages to get a bomb built before a possible Republican president is inaugurated, and the Repukes decide to invade Iran, just exactly what do you think the Iranians are going to do with it?

So, the choice is clear: if you want our president to launch a nuclear war, vote for anyone except Barack Obama because a vote for anyone but Barack Obama is a vote for the Republican. If you do NOT want our president to launch a nuclear war, vote for President Obama.

Well your post is just inaccurate. Ron Paul has not called for invading Iran. Just isn't so. In fact Skip Intro Jan 2012 #3

...although that's not to say a few of them couldn't be dropped. Still, though, I doubt even CHINA would go all out insane and try to nuke the U.S. over Iran, let alone Russia.

I think it's more likely that Obama would take us to war in Iran than would Ron Paul, who you seem to have forgotten about. I hear the war drums pounding and Obama is running the armed forces while it is happening. It's not like he hasn't already started a war we didn't need to be involved in.

the opposite.

Obama is not the anti-war candidate. Ron Paul is.

Fact.
