Co-founder of Students for Trump: Kanye West "is a trojan horse into the Democrat voting bloc"

This was obvious to most people as soon as Kanye announced he was running for president.

But I was surprised to see a Trump supporter this well known admit that Kanye is simply working for Trump here. And there are a few replies saying "shhh."

And it's not just black voters. It's younger voters, who are just as important. A lot may vote for him just to vote for him.

This absolutely would hurt Biden if it was legit. But I suspect it's not.

They're typically younger, liberal people who voted Stein in 2016 and will happily vote Kanye in 2020.

Whether there's enough of them to tilt the race remains to be seen.

Sort of like when McCain chose Princess Dumbass of the North Woods as his running mate in 2008, hoping to attract disaffected Democrats who wanted Hillary Clinton to be the nominee. Remember the PUMA (Party Unity My Ass) movement that was supposed to bring a whole bunch of former Democrats into the Republican fold? It, uh, didn't work then.

This is what Republicans are reduced to: Gimmickry that fools their slack-jawed voters.

In 2008, my friend (a middle-aged white Christian woman) practically gushed at the prospect of electing Sarah Palin. She even said that "She looks like she would be fun." And that was all the criterium needed to get her vote.

Now, taking the above example and developing it, a Kanye West candidacy would have a similar effect: voting for him would be like more American Idol than the presidency. It would be "fun." The voters whom he would attract would be steered from voting Trump out of office to the magical thinking of how cool this country would be to have Kanye in the WH. Every day would be a party.

She was chosen as McCain's veep because surely all the democratic women upset that Obama got the nomination over Hillary just want a woman to vote for because surely the li'l dumplings don't have actual nuanced, well-thought out political philosophies. THEY'RE WOMEN! C'MON!

If he is a spoiler, they're thinking, "Oh, Black people! They just want to vote for one of their own! They don't have well-thought out political philosophies!" Etc.

that close because trump is running on his horrendous record, not against Hillary. Many more whites will vote against his blundering.

He's behind in the battleground states and with four months to go, he's won't get any better. The man is has too many moments of incoherence for a majority of voters to have confidence in his ability to hold it together four more years, especially since the evidence is right before our eyes that he's coming apart right now.

I know Howie Hawkins does but I'm not voting for him. There doesn't seem to be a lot of excitement for him among progressives seems to be because he isn't very charismatic & because of things he said regarding "Russiagate". I don't know what he said but he probably told the truth which isn't good for those that deny Russia interference. They also don't like that Bernie Sanders told the truth regarding Russia.

I don't think you have to worry about Kanye or the Green Party candidate this year.

This stunt is sanctioned by team Trump. They're so obviously desperate and not thinking straight because if Kanye runs, he will take votes from Trump.
