I'm not a fan of local (often drunk) partiers and fireworks

That’s mostly because they keep me awake. I went out for a walk earlier and saw lots of get togethers. The were at least outside but no masks and no social distancing. So I think it’s a sure bet in a couple weeks infections will soar. I’ve been waiting for the rethugs to claim the BLM protests caused the upswing. But those guys were mostly wearing masks and any increase should be winding down by now. We’ll see a big increase in a week or two following tonite.

But as for the BLM protests during a pandemic, that was not good for public health. That said, I blame mostly the SOB who strangled George Floyd during a pandemic.

He set into motion this powder keg ready to blow, so blame him, blame him, and then blame him again. It’s about not those who reacted. It’s him and those who did like things before him.
