This is why systemic racism needs to end. President Biden will need to address this issue. It has gone on to long.

(112,789 posts)There was a huge decline in street crime done by teens-20 somethings as the first generation who grew up in the absence of lead in gasoline entered those prime crime years. Lead doesn't just screw up your nervous system and lower IQ, it has profound effects throughout the brain, especially regarding things like impulse control.
I will not believe in justice until every man who made the decision to save money in Flint by poisoning a generation of its children are in prison. They condemned those children to worse than prison.

(432 posts)We are a wealthy country.....but we cannot provide clean drinking water? And worse. We fool people into thinking, that because it comes from the tap, it is safe.

(11,344 posts)The Guardian had a series recently on water in the US. Some people are unable to pay for water, and others cant even get clean water. Republicans have turned this country into a real mess.
