I am so sick and tired of selective moral outrage.

I am seeing this everywhere and to be truthful.. every political stripe.. selective outrage..I just finished reading a whole bunch of horse hockey on FB from the religious right and their selective morality..while choosing to ignore the complete break from any moral compass that their leader has.

I go on other sites, including here, and you get the same selective moral outrage from the various wings of the left.

oh well.. rant off.. it is going to be one of those days I guess

they're doing it. Doesn't hurt to point it out to them if the situation seems right, and hopefully some will come to understand themselves and others better.

Just look around on any given day.

Some posters are especially known for their selective moral outrage.

Thanks! I don’t need any examples from the right, they are everywhere 🙂

8. Selective outrage, or prioritizing the outrages?

Some things piss me off more than others or affect me more directly than others. I guess that's selective, but I can't really grant the same level of outrage to George Floyd's murder as I do to Trump's fatuous statement that 99% of covid infections are inconsequential.

11. If both sides are the same

Then why are you even picking a side? Of course, the truth is both sides are not the same. It's just that not everyone is going to prioritize issues in the same order you do. No one is equally outraged at all things.
