America is down and out right now. Joe Biden knows what that's like. He is the man for this moment.
Our country is experiencing such anguish right now. Covid-19, unemployment, racial turmoil. Social media has amplified our emotions in what has already been a tumultuous presidency. Americans right now are just... sad. And angry, and nervous, and depressed, and disappointed.
Joe Biden has known a life where things aren't granted to him. His family was poor during his childhood. He overcame a stutter. He's lost a wife, a daughter, and an adult son. He's been counted out politically many times only to come roaring back. His whole life, Biden has learned how to stand up, dust himself off, and get back at it.
America needs to get back up. We need to plug ahead and reclaim our empathy and humanity and spirit. Joe Biden exudes these qualities through and through. I can't wait for the morning after Election Day. Even the words "President Elect Biden" existing in the universe will make this country a more kind, hopeful, and humane place. Let us make it so
