Robert Redford essay voicing his support for Joe Biden

I did not see if anyone else had posted this so here goes

https://deadline.com/2020/07/robert-redford-joe-biden-donald-trump-1202979807/#comment-2860090

Redford has hit the nail on the head. This quote, especially “And I believe Biden was made for this moment. Biden leads with his heart. I don’t mean that in a soft and sentimental way. I’m talking about a fierce compassion — the kind that fuels him, that drives him to fight against racial and economic injustice, that won’t let him rest while people are struggling.”

I think Redford is right. All those years of service in the Senate and as VPOTUS have formed him into exactly what is needed

Not one thing I disagree with in the actor's excellent article! The one thing that nags at me is that here we have yet another Hollywood celebrity publicly endorsing a Democrat. I really don't think this is something we need this election cycle, It plays into the GOP's "elitism" slander, something that, however tangentially or even minutely, did help Trump four years ago.

If this be concern-trolling, make the most of it! I had hoped that I'd have the opportunity to make more than nine posts here, but, in the immortal words of Mick Jagger, "You can't always get what you want."

Good night, everyone!

As if. He was a clod compared to the Dotard as a young man.

If necessary.

At 83 y.o. Redford is nine years older than Drumpf.

And he is still what you'd call a" fine figure of a man."

And the man baby just turns my stomach. I can't stand to see him, hear him, or think about him. But for four to six months I'll do what I can to get him beaten and get Joe in as President.
I'm living overseas now but I've already got my election forms on overseas voting from my last county of residence, Collin County, Texas.
Texas going blue. It could happen in November.

And Robert Redford is a fine man and a patriot. I'd like to think Paul's looking down proudly at him.
