When I asked my Democratic friends if they did their mail-in, most said they didn't do it because they had dropped out of the party and can't vote in the primary.

Well, by definition that means that your friends are not Democrats.

and are independents. I had no idea how many of them had dropped the party. Wow, I said. That's a lot of trouble to change your party affiliation.

Oh well. I'm 100% in favor of only allowing loyal (declared) Democrats participate in party-business. No open-primaries. No caucuses.

Rather than the fact that most democrats are not on the progressive band wagon. That had to be it.

...when they foolishly let some slick talking new friend drive their car only to find out later that new friend actually didn't know how to drive like he said he did, & you only found out AFTER he'd went speeding around a turn, missing the truck coming in the opposite lane, crossing the ditch & crashing that pretty new car,

When the new friend proves to be not what they claimed to be & has left a broken mangled mess ya can't climb out of ....
Who do they call for help? Every damned time? Who pays the bill, calls the tow truck patches the old car till he can scrape together the funds to buy another to get ya back on the road & hopefully you've learned something about trusting a slick talking new pal again.

Who? Oh ya, those good old Established Democrats.
Yup, that's correct.

Every time the slick talking Party takes power over this country, it's driven into a ditch & EVERYV damned time it's the good old Established Democrats who get that late night phone call for help.

And EVERY damned time they come through, as expected.

Yes I'll stick with that Established Democratic Party who's always been there, holding steady, onto the other end of that lifeline.

💙👍🥂😘
