I think it was a video I couldn't watch, that shows what a removed vent tube looks like when it's removed from a covid patient. She should have to watch that.

6. Saw a bunch of this type on a virtual city council meeting last night in our town.

Our council voted 8 to 1 to require masks. The nasty rhetoric from the tea party/trumper element was frightening. One of them was the owner of the liquor store in our neighborhood that we have spent a lot of money with in the past because they carry the scotch my husband likes. Not another dime is going into his pockets.

If was terrifying to listen to them, and to go out and see their fb pages and twitter accounts. They are currently plotting to recall the entire council (the one who voted against it just got beat in a runoff by a young woman who has a chemistry degree), and the mayor (who is a woman, they really hate women in power). I don't think they will be successful, but they have hired a political operative to help them get the signatures they need.
