I wish they'd appoint Dr Fauci to oversee a complete physical/psych/neuro exam of trump*

preferably done at a civilian hospital, by civilian physicians. Run every test. Dr. Fauci has a medical grounding in Internal Medicine and, along with his additional specialty trainings, should, along with psych/neuro specialists, be perfect to assess the results. Then let HIM present the truth to the public. From what I've seen and heard, lately, he wouldn't be cowed into reciting a glowing, false info script provided by the patient.

It's a good idea, of course, but one that can't be implemented. There is no law requiring such an examination of a President.

Please work to win the election in November. That would be much more valuable than this kind of suggestion that has no chance of being implemented.

After spending the vast majority of the past 5 months in self-isolated, and seeing no end to that situation, thinking out loud and wishful thinking is what I do to remain sane.

I don't need to be told how important it is to win in November but, given the circumstances, I also can't make any plans or promises beyond voting. As someone who has always been very politically active, this is beyond frustrating.

We need hard work toward the goal of regaining control of our government.

Honestly, I'm at the end of my wick with this current situation. The absolute hopeless end. I turn to DU, often, just to vent or reach out. I don't expect admonishments on something so benign.

I'm going to take a deep breath and find something equally time wasting and ridiculous to distract me occupy my continuing shut in time.

It lets people feel like they are doing something, instead of actually doing something.

Have you contacted your local Democratic Party organization or a Democratic candidate to ask how you can help? No matter what your situation, there are things you can do to help us win in November.

Trust me, you'll feel much better if you are actively engaged in some sort of useful activity.

It's apparent I've failed to make my point and also feel I'm entering a 'condescending zone', intentional or not, so I'm just going to keep my mental meanderings to myself and say good day, before I start to feel even more frustrated with this exchange.

and how they help win elections? Who knows? You might motivate someone to do the same.
