I'd rather see what a lifelong conservative like Scarborough thinks of what's going on than the bland Geist who offers no opinions at all.

Plenty of places to go for straight news.

I do like a good number of the panelists over the last few years which is why I watch. Meachem, Lemire, Vance, etc.

I watch MSNBC and CNN all day and I think Morning Joe is one of the best shows. Joe has come a long way, Mika covers much-needed subjects and they bring inreally good guests.

21. The show IS much better than it used to be

and Joe has come a long, long way. That said, he could wind down his monologues a bit though. You can see the exasperated look on the faces of Mika and the guests as he goes on and on and on. Some of them are fairly good actually, but much too long and redundant. I record the show, so I can skip forward when he gets too repetitious. And please Joe, don't yell so early in the morning. Some people have just woke up.

Joe's one of the few that's really done it. I'm no fan of his politics but he's been spot on with his anger this year in particular and it's refreshing to see someone actually put it out there.

Just it really is too early to have someone yelling at you. I can handle the outrageous indignation, but at a diminished volume.

I quit watching Morning Joe for many years. I just started watching it again during the pandemic, though not every morning. Joe really has come a long way. I wonder when Trump is gone, if he will revert to the old Scarborough or if this is a permanent change. Joe and Mika sure gave candidate Trump an awful lot of airtime in 2016 and were viewed as complicit in promoting him.

We really are in uncharted times. Beating trump is seriously all that matters. If it takes help from repubs I'm all for it. I know many are too young to know this, but repubs used to be sane. Dems and repubs used to work together to get things done. You can thank Newt Gingrich for the "purity" crap.

Willie may not be the most captivating host, but at least he lets the guests speak and doesn't go off on long soliloquies. I don't want a couple of showoffs on the morning news shows. I want someone who will ask the right questions and let the experts talk.
