1. I'd previously hoped for Elizabeth Warren...

But I understand we can't afford to lose her Senate seat. Also, the time is now for a POC. (Past time, actually.)

So now, I'm leaning towards Tammy Duckworth. She's smart, effective and honorable. We wouldn't lose the Senate seat because Gov. Pritzker is a Democrat & would appoint her replacement accordingly.

As an aside, if we take enough Senate seats to secure a Democratic majority, I'd like to see Elizabeth Warren as Secretary of the Treasury.

Lawrence O'Donnell show...every time I hear her my BP goes down a little. So competent, confident, smart. I would feel so secure with her as VP.

I don't know what she would be like as Prez, if it came to that?

I would support the ticket no matter what,
but I really like other Black women better,
such as Susan Rice, Michelled Obama, or
Stacey Abrams.

And I also really like Tammy Duckworth
and Elizabeth Warren.

Harris is brilliant and connects with the people. She is for medicare for all and will push Biden in the right direction on many issues.

Biden/Harris 2020!

...so I'm not coming off that position. Now, having said that, we have an absolute embarrassment of riches when it comes to Women as VP, so I would honestly be tickled pink to support any of the likely candidates mentioned.

Kamala Harris, Susan Rice, or Tammy Duckworth.

I have been happily surprised that most of my Independent friends think so too. After listening to her speak anywhere, I am convinced of her skills and abilities to hold any office in the executive branch.

Katie Porter for one.

But I like Rice. She has great experience.
