As a former editor/owner of a small town paper in rural America, I can only say that trump is our worst nightmare

read it. The text was part of the teaching moment, and they faded it to such a thin font that it disappeared.
Also, as people get older their eyesight loses some of the sharpness, and advertisers need to remember that when they're trying to get something across. There are also millions of Americans who don't have 2020 eyesight, or graduated stages of sight loss.
If advertisers leave those people out, they are wasting their advertising dollars.
