There has got to be some kind of punitive action against these idiots that tie up the emergency line to report black folks for just existing...

It's clearly a false report, so arrest the dumb woman and maybe people like her will learn to mind their own business over things they know nothing about!

... another fucking KAREN!

And for the predictable Karen-defenders and anyone whining about the use of "Karen"... I offer the following reminder: If it don't apply, let it fly!

?t=60

Okay, I'm gonna need for people who are calling this a slur, and "racial slur" to stop! Okay? When you are a "Karen," that means you've opted-in -- and if it don't apply, let it fly!

But the fact is, if someone is labeling you "Karen," that means you've done something to warrant that label. You're not just sitting there minding your own business. And generally it means that you've stepped into something--into somebody else's business--that you have no business stepping into.

And you've made a spectacle of yourself based on some degree of privilege that you believe that you have. If that applies to you, KAREN, then that applies to you! If it doesn't apply to you, then just let it fly! Why people want to...when people are like "oh, it's the new n-word"... ARE YOU SERIOUS, KAREN?! That is a Karen! Okay?

called Conner, Trent, or something like that. I know a lot of perfectly nice women named Karen. You'd have to if you graduated high school in the 70's. I hope most of them aren't offended by that. It could have just as easily been Debbie or Donna. It is funny though.

who seemed to enjoy bossing strangers around, calling out infractions of "rules," and generally being a PITA. She was the member of the HOA board who would hassle people about their house being the wrong color or growing the wrong kinds of shrubs in their gardens, or would stomp down the street to complain loudly about the appearance of a kid's lemonade stand (or that they had one at all), or about cars being parked in front of her house on a public street. She was in a constant state of high dudgeon about other people's behavior, however insignificant. More recently "Karen" has become a symbol of racist white women who, like this one, focus their general outrage at the behavior of others on PoC in particular, and go beyond merely complaining to the person to threatening to call the police, or actually calling them. "Karen" knows very well that she can use the police to deal with whatever infraction she accuses the object of her (racist) ire of having committed by claiming to be the victim herself.

All the people I know named Karen are nice people who wouldn't do "Karen" stuff at all, so I prefer to use "Debbie," since every Debbie I've ever known has been kind of awful.
