And its sort of companion - the one showing the thin bands of East, and West Coast population equal to the whole Mid-West, and part of the Mountain States!


I live in one of the noisiest, and light "polluted" areas.
But I love mah NYC! 💖🏙️💖

I've also visited (40, 41 yrs ago) some of the quietest, darkest areas at night areas as well!
🏔️🏜️ Beautiful, amazing places in the day, and so dark (with the full panoply of The Milky Way spanning the sky), and quitet at night!
