(3,131 posts)First video she is offering an excuse for brandishing. "The mother and daughter rushed up to her."
Second video shows more. Back and forth about maybe someone got pushed or bumped? You're a racist, no you are. That sort of thing.
At 1:30 in video her husband and her are in the van backing up. One of the people was standing behind - can't tell whether the van disregarded the person there or whether the person got closer - camera wasn't exactly pointing right and a little blurry.
I could hear the person bang (not real hard) on the van though. Then you see her out of the out of the van pointing at the gun and I can hear and see her chamber a round. Get the F* away from me.
The excuse doesn't match the video. Any rushing up was after the van backed up next to the person who responded by banging on back of van. I don't think it was hard enough to leave any mark on the van, it was more of a "wtf watch what you're doing" bang to me. Hard to interpret for me, but I took her getting out of the van as anger at the person banging on the van.
Hope it provides some of the missing context. Even with sound it was hard for me to really follow/interpret.

Why didn't the white lady or her husband call the cops if they felt threatened?

(11,738 posts)She got into her car, she was safe, the altercation was pretty much over.
The woman banged on the car with her hand. A hand versus a 3000 pound vehicle that was in motion, is not a threat. The woman got out of the car because she was angry, not because she was scared. She wanted to show the Black women what "force" was and when they were not scared of her brandishing the firearm, she was stuck.
She should suffer whatever the penalties are for the crime of brandishing a deadly weapon, and she should never be allowed to own a firearm again.
