Videos I have read and watched on mindfulness, how to calm down, deep breathing techniques, etc in the last 4 years.

However, I told my local liquor store owner that when Biden wins and is sworn in as president, I won't be needing his wares as much so he should plan ahead. Trump has made me one of my friend's best customers! (wink)

would have if the Republicans had gained in the 2018 midterms. After 2016 I woke in the middle of the night for months with a sick, worried feeling. Don't even know if how I feel is "normal" or far from it any more.

Those who know how to vote but largely ignore day-to-day politics while they wait for their time are wise.

I can go off of blood pressure medication, which I started needing in 2018 after a long life of low normal readings.

but i don't know where Sen. Kennedy glioblastoma was located. My son lived 11 months and two weeks from initial diagnosis. Not even a Biden win can brighten my world completely but it will help make it less dark.

yes, Joe's son, as well as Sen. McCain had the same brain tumor. My son's was in the thalamus a bad place to have this type of tumor - not that any place in the brain is a 'good' spot. My son donated his brain and body to science research.

My husband and I had a good friend who died with glioblastoma. He lasted 2 years, far outliving the medical predictions. Lived long enough to see the Eagles win the Super Bowl (his main goal). And then was still around to see the Eagles lose the following year.

Terrible disease, the very one that took Biden's son Beau.

Condolences.

But I really hope I start sleeping better once Biden wins and is later inaugurated as POTUS. I've had insomnia problems in the past, usually running in once a month cycles, 1-3 day stretches.. But for the last 6 months? The sleepless nights have totally outnumbered the restful ones.

Looking forward to sleep-through-the-night cycles where I'm doing more than catnapping.

Yes, I want to be bored with politics again so I can finally catch some decent zzzzz and stop yawning throughout the day. I need my beauty sleep, damn it!

When I get upset I drink and then realize I am self medicating and cool it for a few days.

I want to go back to not being worried if we’ll get into nuclear war, a civil war with the racists shooting us with guns or RUssia taking over.

Knew at least somewhat how bad it would be, but never thought it could get this bad! Probably needed them long before that though, and will probably keep taking them
