in the grocery store line. That was a lot more than a bad moment. The guy is batshit and not fit to be out in public.

We have no idea what’s going on with him. Maybe he’s on some meds with bad side effects. Maybe his wife is dying of cancer. Maybe he’s got PTSD from combat.

This is just porn for people who want to feel self-righteous.

whatever is wrong with him, he's still not fit to be around other people if he needs to menace an old lady to deal with his problems.

Now.... 8 minutes and 45 seconds is PLENTY of evidence to make life changing decisions.

Well, now he can sit at home because he has no job. So he doesn't have be distressed by wearing a mask.

This is the reason he claims he doesn't like masks.
“After a while I start to feel like I'm suffocating. I get claustrophobic and that's an issue for me,” Maples said. “I prefer not wear the mask. It's something that causes me a lot of distress.”

a very dear friend. And yet, we STILL wear the masks. Neither of us go into rages about them. So, grow up, maples. You got caught being an absolute, f'n dangerous, threatening asshole. I am not thoroughly acquainted with FL law, but where I am, what you did qualifies as elder abuse, not to mention assault, and you could go to jail.

But meds? Wife dying of cancer? So sorry. That's not an excuse to behave like this.

Oh, and even the person with PTSD can wear a mask.

Get triggered if people grab both my upper arms,or grab my throat or face and I wear a friggin mask.I put it on deliberately with reminding myself I am choosing to wear it,and that it's safe. At first I felt anxiety, but now it's routine.

There is no excuse for risking other people's lives.

But I’m ready for people to be videoed and shamed on the internet and to lose their job if they fail to wear a mask inside at a business or in a state that mandates it.

That was a conscious choice to enter CostCo without a mask.

That in and of itself notwithstanding the out of control roid rage buffoonery should get people outed doxxed and fired from their jobs.
This is a widespread public health CATASTROPHE and those that aren’t taking it seriously are literally endangering the lives of everyone else.

Fuck him.

I have zero empathy for these maskholes

Of course, this is far from the first mask-related incident to happen amid the pandemic. For example, as my colleague Aysha Qamar covered, two men were caught on video breaking an employee’s arm after being asked to wear masks while in a Target. As my colleague Lauren Floyd covered, a security guard at a Dollar General store was shot and killed after asking a woman who tried to enter the store to wear a mask.

older lady to put on a mask in accordance with Costco policy. The woman he was apparently with was wearing a mask.

He advanced on an older gentleman who made the recording using the magic get out of jail free mantra: I FEEL THREATENED! Why? It looks to me like he is carrying a gun in the “appendix” position — inside the waistband on the right side in the front. Probably a small automatic but it did print through his shirt.

gun...screaming “I feel threatened” is legal CYA, not a natural response for if you ACTUALLY feel threatened, you’d be more likely to say, “Back off” or “Stop threatening me.”

this asswipe says "i feel threatened!"
as he approaches

then says "threaten me again!"

sounds like he's setting the scene in order for him to whip out his gun

( ... well, i felt threatened and that's why i killed guy filming me and the old lady who told me to wear a mask)
