Trump is disappointed conservative media isn’t praising him enough for letting Roger Stone walk: report

Snip

President Donald Trump has been disappointed in right-wing media for not giving him more credit for pardoning longtime advisor Roger Stone.

“A senior administration official said there were serious divisions among Trump’s aides and allies over Stone’s case, with some cautioning that keeping him out of prison could be politically risky. Among those opposed was Attorney General William P. Barr, who called the prosecution ‘righteous’ in an interview Wednesday with ABC News, the official said, adding that those pushing Trump to show loyalty to Stone included Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), who is close to the president,” The Washington Post reported Saturday.

“By Saturday, Trump had grown frustrated that he was not getting more credit from conservative media and others for the Stone announcement, the official said. A second administration official said Trump had been warned that the commutation could depress his lagging poll numbers, but he wanted to make a statement against the Russia investigation and help Stone, and he personally worked to craft the messaging to defend the commutation,” the newspaper reported.

Trump's predictions about what will be praised even by Fox News are not panning out.

The more individuals and formerly reliable allies abandon him, the angrier and more unpredictable his response will be. He will begin to assail the few friends he has left.

I know where Trump will likely receive a lot of praise: Alex Jones and Infowars, because Roger Stone is like a God to Alex Jones fans. It's hard to understand what they see in him--he's a ridiculous pompous spectacle. Maybe Breitbart too, if it still exists.

I always think he looks like a Batman villian, like a new Penguin or Joker.

And watch as the rats start jumping off this sinking ship. This was very , very stupid as they knew he was likely to do this. trumps ousting will happen soon , then watch them all be facing a lot more charges and indictments that they will be given much longer sentences for after this. Stone will be going away eventually for the rest of his life when they get done with this criminal. trumps put a target on all these peoples back is what he's done.

What a stupid crook. He hid this disgusting betrayal of justice away in a Friday news dump yet still expects lavish praise from right wing media. They are corrupt but maybe not all bootlickers, sychophants and lickspittles. But they are self-interested. They read polls. And Trump's luck is clearly running out.

Demanding support and shakedown money for his campaign contributions or else he threatens to hurt them, and uses twitter to demand they obey or he uses his powers, and beyond, to punish them until they submit. Putin has does the same thing to Russian businesses too, rewarding the most corrupt by allowing them to prosper.

fellating Trump on-air for three solid hours.

He owes Trump big time for the now-worthless Medal of Freedom.
