It feels like we have the north story penthouse of a 10 story apartment building half full of meth-heads and meth-labs. We don't dare use the elevators.

for wanting to keep Americans out. We in MT feel similarity. The tourists heard that Montana had very low Covid numbers so they hit the road to come up here and stay awhile. Now our cases re rising rapidly with a 1.36 infection rate. I want people to stay out and stay home. Every other car I see on the road is from out of state.

I thought this would happen and now it is. I have even stayed away from my niece and her family visiting from out of state.

waning days of the horrible joke that is the Trump administration. He's ushered in a real dark age of hatred, divisiveness, racism, xenophobia, belligerent nationalism and utter, utter incompetence.

My brother, his daughter and family live on Vancouver Island. His other daughter lives in Seattle. They are well aware of how badly things are being handled here. B.C. just allowed some unessential travel because their numbers are so much better. Even though the Seattle daughter has dual citizenship, she lives in the U.S. so she cannot travel to Canada right now.

We talked about how we cannot visit each other and then tried to focus on the good stuff. It was both wonderful and awful.
I am 70, my brother is 73 and our sister 76, he admitted that he had begun to wonder if he would ever be able to see us again. We have all been careful. Those who still work have been working from home. But the two school age kids and their school teacher father are going to face some time in a schoolroom.

This is so hard on so many. If you can visit remotely please try to do so. Fortunately that Seattle niece works for Microsoft so she set up the call for us. My friend here in TN has organized Zoom visits for her 91yo mother and her 101 yo aunt. Who would have thought this was possible, certainly not those two ladies.

thing and got covid under control when it was still possible to do so. i watch the numbers and think omg how can the governments, federal and state, not order folks to wear masks,,,yep the constitution guarantees freedom of choice but if they don't want to wear a mask perhaps they should move to a desert island somewhere...

You need to do the needful and tighten border controls with us. You do not want CV spreading further up there. We understand and know u are our friends, especially with us in the border states. We know you will be there for us if we need you. God bless Canada.
