I didn't have AC.

At night I sprated my bed with cold water. I dipped my cars into cold water.

At 2 am I would call time and temp. And it would be 102. I couldn't sleep so I walked much of the night. Went on fot days.

Every day my house got hotter .

Every breeze felt like a blast furnace. Never got below 90 at night. All you could do was drink LOTS of water and take cold showers. Hiking was miserable. Eating in the packed dining hall was worse. I learned to soak T-shirts in water, and wear them wet (or at least damp).
