Trump's biggest problem right now is the SEC is about to scrap this year's college football season

because of his botched handling of this pandemic, you don't fuck with college football in the Southeast.

With numbers exploding in the entire Southeast, there is little hope for football being played this fall in the the South, The Big-10 and PAC-10 have already announced they will scrap all out of conference games and that may end up getting expanded to scrapping the entire season as the Ivy League already has.

Jesus fucking Christ! His stupid entitled white girl daughters are only thinking about football.
I fucking hate GA Governor Brian KKKemp.

There is no way 70,000 to 90,000 people are going to pack into the UGA or GA Tech stadiums to watch football without a massive death toll as a consequence.

Apparently, 37 members of the Clemson football team have COVID19 as of June 26, and 6 more athletic staff and student athletes tested positive this past week.

Believe me: Kemp’s daughters are very entitled.

I was raised as a clueless. entitled, very upper middle class, white girl in the South.

They, like me, are private prep school graduates, who were raised by a well-off and politically well-connected, Republican family.

I know what I’m talking about

Most scions of the wealthy and powerful end up that way.

You say you were raised in much the same way and yet you most certainly didn't turn out as a horrible human being, so perhaps they may think of more things than UGA's record, but then again perhaps you're right and they are nothing more than 'stupid entitled white girl daughters'.

I dunno.

It'll be interesting to see how Trump blames it on Democrats, considering Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisana and the rest of the SEC states are run by Republicans.

Louisiana, and the mayor of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. But, mayors have nothing to do with UF, LSU, UofA football, or the SEC, nor are they responsible for the bungled responses to the pandemic throughout the southeastern states. That's the responsibility of their Republican governors, senators and the president.

Playing football this Fall is up to SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, as well as the various university presidents and athletic directors. They have been forced to deal with the worsening COVID-19 pandemic, and the failures of state and federal governments to contain the virus.

Sankey said about having a football season: "The direct reality is not good, I want to provide the opportunity for college athletics to be part of the Fall, but we need to all consider our behavior to make possible what right now appears very difficult...we've politicized medical guidance of distancing, and breathing masks, and hand sanitization, ventilation of being outside, being careful where you are in buildings..."

When the shit hits the fan in the next few weeks, and SEC fans are deprived of their beloved football, they will look for someone to blame. Trump will never take responsibility.

on COVID19. Trump has even set an internal White House operation to discredit and blame Fauci. Hopefully, noted academics and medical researchers who have worked with Fauci will come to his aid and publicly refute the attempt by Trump to blame Fauci for everything.

College Football is the canary...the fucking coal mine is poisoned. While many fans will be upset about missing games, entire families are going to be outraged by having their kids used as props in Trumpy Bear's campaign...and if they are NOT outraged, they should be jailed and their kids taken away.

I still see most people, men at least, saying that Covid is overblown and this is an election year stunt. They think it is ridiculous that sports, school, and everything else is getting shutdown. Many, many people do not believe this is serious. They wonder why one case would shutdown a school and want to know why they just don't treat individual cases like the flu or any other illness. Some of these fools say stuff like, "Europe is back to playing sports while we are cowering in fear." I'm like, dude, they got on top of this bullshit while we're jerking around!!!

It is the liberal dems fought for demanding the recruiting of more blacks than whites. Those blacks get virus easier. If we had higher percentage of whites, we could safely play football. Maybe we can have an all white season. Maybe Devos will make college sports reopen., like public schools. Some people will die but....... Hope ya know this is sarcasm.

That's according to this article:
[link:https://www.rockytopinsider.com/2020/07/12/vols-2020-season-opener-moving-ahead-as-planned-for-now/|

Quote from the article:
With the Big Ten announcing plans to play a conference-only schedule in 2020 and other Power Five conferences considering doing the same, smaller conference schools are beginning to worry about what their 2020 seasons could look like.

Though the SEC has said they will discuss the possibility of playing only conference games this season, the plan right now is to still have the 2020 season proceed normally. That includes Tennessee’s season opener in Knoxville.
