Even after Trump is defeated this year, the insanity will continue

And he'll keep it going on his twitter feed every moment of every day. No matter what else happens in the world, you can be absolutely certain that Trump will continue to spew his shit to his worshipers. And they will continue to love it and gobble it up.

In many ways, he is a virus, a disease that is perhaps more dangerous than Covid-19. A vaccine will eventually be found for Covid. But there's no vaccine against ignorance, hatred, and pure, incurable stupid.

If nothing else, this needs to be a learning moment for sane Americans. Our democracy rests on the fact that most of us actually understand and believe in democracy. Trump, and today's Republican Party, believe this virus is an opportunity to make their owners, (the wealthy and powerful), far richer and more powerful. And to fuck everyone else far more than they've ever fucked them through all of recorded history.

So, from the instant Trump is dragged from the White House, he will be tweeting about "a stolen election, a takeover and a threat by the 'THEMS,' a war against 'real' white, Christian Americans, living in constant fear, and," -- well, you get it. It will be shit peddled by a madman sitting in his room, (or cell), transmitting hatred to the zombies of the world. And he will be joined by Fox "news," and all the other wingnut propaganda haters on radio, TV, and online.

The day we will stop hearing Trump spewing his hatred will be the day he dies. And then, he will become a martyr who will greatly magnify the powerful propaganda that fucks up the minds and beliefs of millions of people.

These people aren't going away. And in each and every election, we must defeat them at every level, from local offices on up to the congress and presidency. If these hate-filled specimens of humanity ever again come to power, their revenge will fuck us beyond the worst horrors we can imagine. This crazed minority must never again be allowed to steal our elections, our democracy, and our very lives.

and he might die before it happens.

Alive or dead, he will be a rallying point for the ignorant, the haters, the bigots/racists of the world. And I fear that someday, another "dear leader" will show up to lead the world's dangerous, deadly morons.

And the main stream media will cover him like stink on poop... Now if ALL the MSM (save for fox) stopped covering his bullshit tweets that will be a first step. Also, like mentioned if twitter blocked his egregious comments that would be great also.
I still think that MSM will be his greatest enabler after he is kicked out...
YMMV

that in my opinion, Trump is not the problem - he is just a symptom.

The problem has been given the name 'Trumpism' which fits like a glove as he is the perfect embodiment of it. But it roots go far, far deeper and didn't just materialize when he was sworn in.

It’s palpable almost, when someone loses their power.

It just ... happens.

When he’s a lame duck (in office, but on the way out), he just won’t be as “powerful” despite his same minions around him.

I know we think he’ll use this time to do unbridled damage and poop on the resolute desk and steal the letter B from the WH keyboards, but I don’t think so. The power shift starts right then.

In my opinion anyway.

Treason convictions, and their domino effects, would enable far more. - imho

[The Speaker, her legions, concerned organizations, and trump continuing to screw up - can happen].

The job of an AG is to prosecute everything from, say, illegal campaign contributions, to treason. And if we get an AG such as Kamala Harris, you can bet that Trump and his cronies will spend the rest of their lives spending their fortunes on lawyers.

25. Bill Clinton made a deal with Special Prosecutor Robert Ray on his last day in office.
Sun Jul 12, 2020, 02:48 PM
Jul 2020

(NYT, Jan. 19) "On his final full day in office, President Clinton has reached an arrangement with a special prosecutor to avoid being prosecuted after he leaves office in connection with the Monica Lewinsky affair....Mr. Clinton accepted a five-year suspension of his law license, agreed to pay a fine of $25,000 to cover counsel fees arising from the case and acknowledged that he had committed a breach of professional conduct...Shortly after Mr. Clinton's statement, the special counsel, Robert W. Ray, said he believed the resolution of the case was fair, just and in the best interests of the country."

I sure hope it doesn't happen, but you can bet Trump's representatives will be trying to work out a deal with the incoming AG, and possibly NY state prosecutors, to avoid prosecution. In return for what isn't clear yet. Perhaps after the release of his tax returns we'll know more.

and being a far-right talk show host. Ask Rush. As it turns out he's still alive.

One other thing you can be sure of: Change always causes more change. His dysfunctional followers have been digging their own political graves all along. That was never in question, only if they were going to take a bunch of us with them before they destructed and who would take power from them.

There's no possible way he'll live more than 2 years. He is absurdly unhealthy.

His followers will continue to be a problem, but they will mostly be an albatross around the neck of the GOP.

If Donnie never tweets again, fox news will continue to push idiotic crap and people will continue to gobble it up. Other republicans will amplify to nonsense. Maybe one will have the biggest voice, maybe it will be several people, but it will continue after Donnie.

The only way out is to laugh at the and mock them and to not cater to their crap. And above all, don't vote for them!

If you think Fat Donnie has gone insane with power after the Republicans in the Senate gave him carte blanche to do what he wants without consequences, watch what happens when he loses the WH. We're going to get a demonstration of how much damage one man can do to a country -- and the world -- in two months.

Then he'll quit the day before inauguration and Pence will pardon Trump, his family, and anyone he considers to have been sufficiently loyal.

Remember how devoted they were to "W"? Now they will not even acknowledge that he existed.

The same thing will happen to Trump. It will be easier to find somebody new than it will be to defend him.
