I don't have all the facts. Interesting discussion on Velshi yesterday though. Tik Tok allegedly has ties to the Chinese Govt.

The discussion centered around election meddling by the Chinese, stealing information, data collection. The guest raised an interesting point - while these issues should be taken seriously if found to be true - we have to make sure this is not Facebook pushing out what seems to be an emerging competitor. Tik Tok is wildly popular with the younger kids
