Trump can't win the election. But he and the Republicans can steal it.

The presidency was stolen in 2000 when the Supreme Court appointed Bush.

The presidency was stolen in 2004 when the Republicans stole Ohio.

The presidency was stolen in 2016 with the help of Vladimir, Comey, and voter suppression.

This year, "scrubbing" voter rolls, closing polling places in black and brown areas, demanding state issued IDs, "lost" votes, machines that switch votes, and so many other tactics that Republicans have perfected over the years, could possibly give the White House to the madman for another four years.

Would another Republican theft of the White House (and possibly the senate) lead to a dangerous, deadly public uprising? I don't know.

But I do know that if Trump loses, he will do everything in his power to bring about a dangerous uprising by right wing nuts.

Almost all of us know this. If/when he loses (and loses big) he will do everything to incite the destruction of America.

So my question is, what do we do to prevent a madman from destroying what's left of our democracy? And this is not a question about some psychotic fantasy. It's about the reality that exists in out country right now. Donald Trump is dangerous and very likely what most would describe as a madman. So, again, I ask. What are we going to do if he unleashes hell against American democracy?

Are you prepared to go to war with your neighbors?

This is where the madman in the White House, aided and abetted by the Republican Party, would lead us.

So exactly who is it you're getting ready to fight on that one way street? And I'm not being sarcastic here. I'm only stating the reality of what a "Second Civil War" would be. It's a nightmare that no sane person, (other than the armed idiots who need to show off their weapons), would do everything possible to avoid.

Let's not let one madman be the cause of a national bloodbath.

Not going to argue, but I have no plans to catch hell as a one way street - without fighting back.

So, one thing I realized as a young person, when you start shit with someone, you no longer control the agenda as to where it is going to go.

I am hoping that more and more people are waking up to his con.

Even my one republican friend is slowly waking up to the mess where we find ourselves in - as much as she want to deny reality, it is slowly impacting her. Especially the idea of her grandchildren going back to school and trusting Trump over medical experts. And this friend was buying Trump’s party line for the longest .

Anyway, I think the REAL awaking will be - when and if - parents (that support Trump) send their children back to school in the face of the medical experts. I hope not, but I strongly suspect that a lot of those children will become infected. And, once the most important person (your children) become infected - there will be no turning back, and the hatred for those that put your children at risk will be beyond measure.

My thoughts, You stay safe!!!

around 100 MILLION people did not vote in 2016, they sat it out. Many simply figured there was NO way in hell trump could win, others bought into the both sides are alike BS, and no matter what their reason was, it help trump because his "loyal" cult did NOT stay home. Hillary still beat him in the popular vote by 3 MILLION votes.

I really don't think that will happen this time. People are angry and trump is making them even more angry. If the voters turn out in full force, he will lose by a large margin.

Never give up.

It's not who votes that wins elections, it's who counts the votes. If a state has a Republican governor and secretary of state there is almost no way that Biden will win that state.

This, plus Russian meddling and Republican voter suppression makes it very likely that Trump will win, no matter how many more votes Biden receives.

And to top it off, Republican lawyers and a Republican-favoring supreme court may ensure a second term for Trump.
