Maybe it's age, maybe it's Covid-19 but 5 of my former co-workers have died, recently
One, and maybe two, were Covid-19 related deaths. Who knows if it was more.
A lot of us former, retired and current employees used to get together, once a month, for lunch. Of course, that's been put on hold. I just learned that one of the people we all looked forward to seeing has died. She was older, and I knew her health wasn't good, but still. So many missed opportunities to laugh and reminisce.
