Open Letter to the Dems in the House re: Next Stimulus
Dear Democratic Majority,
There have been recent stories stating that the Retrumplicans and Donnie Short Fingers administration intend to tie any future stimulus money for schools, localities and unemployment extension to opening of our schools. In other words, they want the ability to extort public schools to "open, or else".
I don't believe I have to say this, but you MUST NOT allow any possibility of this happening.
You may look across the aisle and think you see rational, reasonable and caring Americans. That is a fraud. You may assume that you are just dealing with a typical hypocritic, mean, ignorant and corrupt Retrumplican Party, but you're not. You're looking at a criminal enterprise along the lines of a Mafia crime family. You're dealing with people like Michael Corleone, who would stand in church as godfather of a baby, while having that baby's father garroted.
When you are "negotiating" with these criminals, you MUST assume the worst. You must assume that they will find any loophole, unclear language, screwed up interpretation, or even illegal way that they can get what they want. If you are not diligent, they will find a way to extort public schools.
That's why my argument is that you can't negotiate or compromise. They are criminals. They will sacrifice our children...hell!... they'll sacrifice their own children for power.
Any bill must include IRONCLAD language. You must ask yourselves; "what is the most evil, corrupt, illegal, immoral and dispicable thing they could do with the funds in this Bill?", and then you MUST assume they will do just that.
The only thing that will motivate them to do right is if their 1% funders feel pain.
Please spare me the handwringing about how it hurts the workers and the middle class if corporations feel pain.
Ask yourself instead how much workers suffer under continued Retrumplican control.
You can not give ANYTHING to this criminal cabul! NOTHING!
No matter how much Moscow Mitch and Steve "please punch me in my smirking face" Mnuchin tells you how "bipartisan" their intentions are.
There should not be one more fucking taxpayer dollar given to these pricks by any type of "compromise" legislation. NOT ONE FUCKING DIME!!!!
The only way a Bill should be agreed to is with a joint account that requires the signature of the Speaker of the House to countersign any expenditure.
If they don't agree with those terms, you just tell them to call you when the Dow hits 1000... and then don't take their call until it hits 100.
