My mom was in a Florida nursing home for several years until she died ~2 yrs ago (Alzheimers). I won't pretend I haven't felt a sense of relief that she didn't have to live through this. Or die from it.
Out of curiosity, I've occasionally checked to see if there are any cases at the place she lived. Looks like 9 'suspected' cases, none confirmed, and no deaths at this point. But I fear it is inevitable.

this wave will, most likely, hit GA nursing homes/assisted care facilities where I have family residing and it has me greatly concerned.
