On South Lawn, WH seeks to make a political point by setting up a crane lifting the weights of regulation from the bed of a "red" truck, while showing the burden of regulations weighing down a "blue" truck.

SOME constituents in the crowd, but most are reporters. After covering the WH for 3 years, I doubt many of them will vote for him!

Such as the regulations and people who would have kept us safe from C-19?

In his last days Adolf Hitler would spend hours looking at scale models of great new Berlin
that will show the glory of the Third Reich and now we have Donald with "weights" made out
of plywood and paint being "lifted' by the great Trump meanwhile another 60,000 American
get the disease. What a shit show.

Why do these reporters feed his bottomless pit of an ego?

And what the hell is he doing "branding" the crane? FFS, what a flaming narcissist!

This is a stunt, not a press briefing.

And I hope he is humiliated by it. They aren't helping their careers or the reputation of their employers by giving into him and being abused by him all the time. They would be a lot more respected if they stood up to him.

He's using government property for campaigning. Who has paid for the "visual aid" that only a dolt like Trump needs (because he can't read, and has the attention of a gnat, so can't listen to people either) of a crane labelled "Trump Administration" like a really crappy editorial cartoon? It's either criminal use of public money, or it's proof that it's a campaign rally with the Republicans paying for it.
